Newbie Quesy: Nail Varnish Smell

Used the triple distilled turbo & turbo clear mix, fermented out ok, cleared and left for 24hrs, syphoned off and left for another 24hrs. (Very clear)

Distilled 4 ltrs and threw the first 25ml. Ended up with a very strong nail varnish smelling liquid even after filtering??

This is my first wash through the Airstill although I did flush it once with water.

how long did you leave it to clear in total before distilling?

did you throw ayay the last portion of the spirit, say once it dropped below 20%? that
anyhow IME throw at least the first 40ml from every distil.

distil your spirit twice,(will get 70-80% after second distil) then filter it a few times.
if it still smells only thing for it is to distil and filter again.
GL mate its great and straight forward once you do it a few times.

Also have a look on here for tomato wash you\'ll get much less smell and bad taste but less spirit. quality v quantity
