Re: Useless information corner

The strongest beer in the world is 67.5% abv.

My beer of the moment is LAND VAN MORTAGNE, by Alvinne in Belgium. It’s 12.8% - which is plenty!

You can use a UK 2p coin, instead of a 2 euro coin in euro shopping trolleys.

Re: Wanted - black & white whiskey dogs.

Thanks Jack, they are the right dogs, but the ones I’m thinking of are separates and came in individual boxes.

Thankfully I’m in no rush, so if anyone comes across a set, please let me know.

Wanted - black & white whiskey dogs.

Looking for a perfect condition, set of porcelain display, black & white scotch whiskey dogs.

I have a specific set in mind, but can’t remember the specifics!
Seen them about 3 years ago, individual dogs, very high quality, made by some English porcelain company.
I’ve been searching for a pic - and ...

I have a tiny plastic jug, holds 100ml, that’s my shot measure - 7 drinks to a bottle.

I like easy maths! 👍

When I’m on nights, I’ll have 1 or 2 after work - just to help me sleep.
Works a treat. 😴

Perhaps a ‘sticky’ at the top of each category with an updated list of links would help people find useful info?

Re: Search bar

I suspect that the search function is working correctly, but the number of results exceeded a pre-defined value, and returns the ‘too common’ message.

This is a pretty normal response, and is done to limit the server resources being used for search results.

It’s a ‘performance’ variable, so if you ...

Hi JG, I’m a newbie too, and my first wash was also lousy, but I managed to recover it!

I made a 25L wash using a Vodka Star packet.
It looked ok when done, but was very milky, and smelled a bit ‘off’.

I didn’t have the carbon clearing pack, so I just ran it through the T500 anyway.
Came out nice ...

Heading to London in a few hours, to meet up with the wife and kids for a fun weekend together (plus it’s the wife’s birthday).

Is it wrong that all I can think of, is will I get the chance to buy a sieve and some threaded bar?
