That's the last time the Mrs asks me to clean the hob...

Post by 32_16 »

You never clean the hob, you always spill stuff on it and I spend blah blah blah cleaning it up...

Sound familiar ?

We have a stainless steel gas hob, it was scuffed and marked when we moved in here and a few years later with repeated scrubbing with pan scourers .. well you get the picture.

Mrs complained once to often so whilst she was out I mopp'd the top to a mirror finish tonight and steam cleaned the pan supports and it looks better than new...

Next time she scratches it cleaning it with a pan scourer...

Are you available to do others?

Only kidding. I keep the top of mine pristine.
It is my oven that I am lazy about.

Me thinks you are making a rod for your own back
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

If it’s broken, it might be my fault, is my responsibility and there is even a slight chance I can fix it 😳

But she'll likely still moan if the clicking spark generator doesn't work.....

The oven is the easy bit. Bake bread keeps an oven lovely. That and wood ash on the glass.

She'll have to soak stuff off the surface - she's been warned...

Genuinely she is really chuffed with it :) I've earned some brownie points !!!
