I saw these a while ago. Very nice.

I am still a heathen, with a Chinese 1kg pulverizer grinder and a moka pot.

Morrisons expresso is my current fave. Not just because it's £1 a pack.

The ceado 6 is a step less grinder and very well built,
don't know which is better built, but they are a great
marriage the coffee is brill.
As I roast my own, I have a Gene Cafe Roaster. I buy
the beans I like , or want from my supplier and roast
to the level I want. ATM drinking a home made blend
of, Mexican EL Selecto (35%) Columbian Supremo (35%)
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe (30%). The great thing is green
beans are unprocessed so no VAT. Very cheap, Agreen
bean Mexican £11 a Kilo, roasted £18.50 or so.

Moka Pots are great Mash have some myself, little to large.
But you cant use that instrument of torture to grind the beans
it will smash them to bits.Grind and you will get better flavour.

Oooh - fellow coffee addicts...

I used to have a pump machine (and strictly speaking I still do) but I swapped over to a lever machine about 18 months ago.
Coffee_corner.jpg
Work's coffee machine started to leak water last year and said if anyone wants to fix it they can have it - a week and one pressure pipe later it workls perfectly - it's now in my garage / still room...

I'm tempted to try roasting beans but figure it's a rabbit hole I'd get stuck down...

I'm fussy, can't bear any instant, (I drink it black, no sugar).
But can usually find a pleasant pre-ground for my daily intake.
My taste buds ain't that special, and I don't try and kid myself.
I like it or I don't. :)

Each to their own. There is a big world of Coffee Brewers
and Lovers out there just like Beer Brewers etc.
I have a foot in both camps, I like to experiment with
different Coffees, which have very different tastes, much
like my Gin or ED's Beer.

Spent an hour this evening readying for the 3 little piggies which arrive tomorrow.
I hope they prove to be as easy to keep, as much fun and as tasty as last years trio! :fork_and_knife::pig2:

I saw this whilst on walkabout hour today. It's a sign in more ways than one. I feel duty bound now to have a go at making some but didn't realise it was an offence. I don't know why the authorities have singled out rum though, too much of anything can make a person distressed and vulnerable. Or....should I just say no to kraken

Well just finished the 8 o'clock clap for key workers, handed out the g'n't's
and Vodka's as per. Even had a little Absinthe with my mate Ray next door.
We meet at front gates about 7.50 every Thursday I know what all drink now!
Drinks taken from a tray, do our drink shout, cheer and I collect glasses on a
tray, in gloves B4 anyone says.Lemon etc in the bin glasses to Dishwasher and
relax wash hands, that's it fun over for a week.

I have been buying so much online, in an effort to stay home, like others, I am not surprised that stuff takes awhile to be delivered.
Had a couple of deliveries today that I thought lost, they have taken so long.
There is some stuff that I will not have to buy again this year, due to bulk purchases.
I have to venture to a supermarket tomorrow and that spikey venomous woman says that we should wear masks or scarves in this part of the United Kingdom when doing so.
These are my choices,
A large serviette

Or a pillowcase

Either way I look stupid.
Any fashion advice is welcome and may be ignored!

If it's a Pillowcase ED, why not cut 2 eyes out ,put over your head
and go KKK style. Or do you think they might mistake you for
Donald Trump on the retribution path

I did go with the first.
I was kinda p'd off that one of the few other guys in there wearing one decided to have a go at me, because in his opinion, I was less than two metres away!
Oh, the dangers of letting someone believe that they are anonymous with their face hidden.....
Although the two metre rule meant that he was not going to get physical!

That's a good observation. Anonymity leads to aggression, I hadn't thought of that that as a consequence.

Must have been singing in the water...
I went out to poundstretchers yesterday, filled a trolley with two 15kg sacks and then found the wheels were twisted so it wouldn't move, had to lift it like a sack barrow, back through the 'in' door 'cos it was the shortest route to the check-out . Went to go in the 'out' and the lad on the counter repeatedly screamed "you can't come in this way. You have have to go around the shop "

Not sure when screaming at customers became the new normal.

Better still... there was no one there. Common sense seems to have become a victim too.

I had to leave the trolley at the checkout and walk around the shop - back to the check-out. Before he would serve me.

You should have parked your trolley up his poop chute Mash, feckin jobsworth. No need for carrying on like that in an empty shop.

Can you tell I don't like shopping? My other half says I should wear a mask all the time, don't know what she's getting at

Not read this one for a while..........

Now it seems all about bank jobs and coffee (or is that bank jobs for coffee ?)

Think I'll just stick to the mix of pre-ground/roast blend I've found I like. All that bean to cup and own grinding thing seems like a right palaver.......

So I'll happily stick with my mocha pot (still annoyed as my Ibrik went missing on one of our moves)..

Cos all that DIY stuff is fine (all power to those who.......), but I've still to taste something better than Turkish/Arabic stylie..........

But WTF, enjoy what you enjoy........

Oh, and ski masks are better as they hide more than just mouth (and those face masks need to be of medical grade to have any sort of effectiveness - anything less is a waste of time/money/effort as far as I can find out) </shrug>
