I quite like the visual/audible reassurance that it's still going 🤷

I do like the sound of your fire too Mash, but commiserations on the boiler :(

I just airlock wines, to know that they are working and finished, as they tend to take a while longer than anything that I distill.

Snuggly firelight brandy therapy. Lovely.
At least you have time to get it fixed before an xmas vacation by heating engineers.
Just to make you feel better, my stove is smoking back into the room badly, so I have to sweep the chimney tomorrow.

Monday, I ventured out into the fields with a bucket of mole traps.
Tuesday, I pulled the first two bodies.
Wednesday, I hope for a few more.
And this is me until Easter, Mole-trapping and some serious building work.
No furlough in sight.
Not sure that I mind that.

Monday didn't venture out.
tuesday not allowed out.
wednesday wanted to shoot some arseholes. I live in a "nice area" nothing
happens, but the arseholes are back(drug dealers). wanted to shoot from
downstairs. Ray the builder next door dared me and said it was a cleaner
hurt than aTrenching Spade up the side of the head.
So upstairs, careful aim and I shot his hat off!!
Not bad from 15mtrs and they all left quickly as Ray appreared with his
Spade.
So ED we do our own style of hunting in the south and the cops turn a blind eye,
as long as no one dies.

If anyone ever had a better way of communicating with this member than through this board, I would be grateful to hear that she is OK.
Her profile shows her last active June/July, but she was posting in October, and was asking me to PM her.
She has not read the PM or been logged on site since.
She may have grown bored with us, but I think that she would have told us before departing.

Robert.
I am fairly certain from some duplicated posts that she is a member of a couple of the FB groups I am a member of.
I think she has posted in them in the last month, but I may be wrong

So, today I was officialy diagnosed as epileptic.
And put on meds.
It's probably better than Covid, but it is still a pisser.
Time for me to put on my big boy pants.

My nephew had the same diagnosis Robert. He also couldn't drive for 12 mths and was put on meds. The meds sorted his problem, he's had no more episodes since as far as I know. It was a pain not driving for 12 mths as his office was in the city which meant two bus rides. Don't despair mate, keep your chin up.

I know a few people who are. They medicate and live a full and normal life.
You know what it is - It has a name you can stick pins in :D - and that is much better than it going un-diagnosed.

PS. Do I get first dibs on a cheap ebike in 12 months :D :D :D

ED, I think meds can get tweaked over time to get a good balance of control Vs other effects. You'll get there x
