Wasn't suggesting anything per se, but I'd happily use that option if it was available (£5 or £10 per annum isn't gonna break the bank IMO - especially if it was optional etc)

Optional does not enter into my banks method of paying Direct Debits..

You make me sound like something I am not.

This has been (and still is) a very useful learning experience that was enjoyable as well as difficult. It isn’t something that Mash couldn’t do or any number of our members could - you can’t read the writings of Myles without thinking he would be capable of doing what I do.

I am actually quite proud to be able to technically facilitate the medium we choose to discuss our craft.

Late to the party but just wanted to say that I found donating the way it is now, easy to do. If my donation arrived with Moss that is A subscription might put people off, I for one don't like them, but I'm happy to contribute as and when I can. That doesn't mean I don't need to be reminded once in a while

I think it's almost impossible to make money from a forum, especially when it's a small community like this one. I've been involved in a couple before and the admins usually paid more than anyone to keep them going. Ad free is definitely something to strive for. I will donate as and when I can, that's for sure.
