When you is hungry, there is something about a Ginsters'.
Opening the wrapping can make them less soggy....
Tonight I dined on previously made and frozen S&K Pie from the freezer, it was good.
There are many more in the freezer.

I believe that one of the lightbulb moments that some, but not all people learn, is how to re-heat food.
There should be classes, or at least you tube vids for the unaware.
You can make it hot, is not the same as you can make it tasty!

Tonight I dined on double egg and chips, not had this for yonks. I was thinking while eating (multi tasking) how many I knew who made their own chips. Virtually everyone I know has succumbed to the second rate option of the oven chip. I've had them more than a few times in the past, not usually by choice though

. So lets hear it for the humble home made chip sarni, it stands head and shoulders above the oven chip

Got to admit BB The Potato makes the best chips, not that I was really
thinking to much about that with an Endoscope rammed up my arse.

You've got to grasp your knees, bite your lip and think of England at times like that mate. I'll be doing exactly that this friday the 13th, gulp! Not that I'm superstitious at all. Hope it wasn't too traumatic Gaza

The nice thing about frying yer own chips is that you can decide on the crispyness.
Maybe you can do that with oven chips?
I prefer to mess with my own vegetables.

Others tell me that oven chips are a quick alternative to proper chips. Not so. Ovenchips take 30 mins at least to cook but a proper chip takes two mins to peel spuds and 10 mins or so to cook to perfection

I can't believe that I just had to put the word 'endoscope' in the search box to come back here.
And two people talking about it, I feel that I am missing out.
Seriously guys, for whatever reason it is happening, I hope that you get good result.

No McCains here.
We do our own chips, peeled, lightly oiled, seasoned and then cooked on they oven.
Does that confuse the issue?

Good luck for friday BB, so you will be on the Movie Prep by now. It is the
bit DON'T move to far from the loo mate. I put a bit of Ribena in mine,
then it was drinkable. The procedure it's self, no problem, just mild discomfort
and I had 9 polyps cut out yesterday. HWMBO picked me up in the Bentley.
After a through walk round for damage I put her in the co-pilots seat and
drove us home.
Good luck for Friday , All will be fine mate.

I think normal people are so fed up they want something to cling to, something to look forward to.
To the zombie brained drug taking thickoes that make up the other 50% down here. All is normal
no work ,no hope and no idea. I look at them from the inside of my Bentley and say.
"No you can't have one 'cause you are taking from the pot not putting in !!

It is all about dealing with the sticks. No not for beating people
I grew up in a "work for it" world. Cheap credit has made it into "have it now". It isn't people's fault per se, they are lead into it.
But it doesn't work, they end up on the hamster wheel of debt....and when (not if) someone puts a stick in the spokes things get very tricky. Very quickly. Enter 2020 lots of sticks.

I understand that Mash, but not the drugs. By this I mean cocaine etc.
A black BMW parks outside my house sometimes, can't stop him doing
that , but then 7 or8 people in an hour turn up and leave within 30 secs.
All details given to The Police but it still happens. It's so obvious what
is going on. £40,000 BMW6 series with a 25 year old at the wheel.

What can you say about that! Some cops just aren't interested in doing their jobs. I'm sure many on here have reported crime and not been happy with the response, or lack of it. My neighbours mad dog got into my property chasing my cats, quite early in the morning (for me). The cats hid in my bedroom. The first I knew of it was when the dog jumped on my bed and stood on my chest to look round for the cats. He savaged one as I got out of bed. I kicked it in the ribs a couple of times and it just went up a gear so I gave it a right hander at the base of its scull. It dropped the cat and turned on me. I got a grip of it's neck and threw it down the stair well outside my bedroom , I thought that's you fucked mate. I checked out my moggie, he appeared dead, then the dog came back in. It was frothing at the mouth and going mental. I held up my bed sheet in front of me and kicked it in the face repeatedly and hard enough to get it out of the room and shut the door. I shouted down to my Mrs to lock herself in the kitchen and call the cops. I saw a cop car turn up very quickly. We only live 200 yards away from the station. The officer inside the car phoned my Mrs and asked if the dog was still inside our house she said yes and the spineless twat drove off and left us to it. Not impressed

I could go on about other incidents but won't

BB it is not often I am speechless
What a ghastly incident and equally ghastly response from the police.
I have often wondered where you stand legally if you kill another's dog that is attacking you and yours.

Caught the first mole of the season.
Cheeky little madam moved into OUR orchard about a month ago, and due to the length of grass, trap setting has been dificult.
I prefer a mole in a lawn, or well eaten down pasture any day.

I've always wondered why you see loads of mole hills on verges next to roads. I thought they were sensitive to vibrations and would avoid areas right next to a busy road. Or maybe they are penned in by the carriageway.
