I think the nurse took one look at you and decided to make it a quick contact!
Good to hear your kidneys are still good,- you can keep making and drinking.
Glad there was no pain in the examination.
I recall my father telling me of Gonorrhoea treatments, for randy soldiers serving overseas during the 2nd world war.
Basically, a cocktail umbrella inserted, opened and withdrawn, to allow the urine an exit.
He didn't admit to undergoing such a process. but claimed to have heard big men screaming.

I was very worried because of second hand tales of painful experiences Robert. Things have moved on nowadays thank feck. I was convinced that Christmas would be a dry miserable one but am very happy to be wrong. I managed to keep my problem a secret from everyone close to me which was a bonus. I didn't want my OH to worry about me as she worships the ground I walk on

I am with you on 'Keeping it close, and keeping it secret', I mostly did the same with my problem.
The cat is now out of the bag, and as I encounter neighbours while out trying my new bike, I give them the whole story.
Not that there is one.
My family, the ones that knew, are just happy that I sought medical help.
Shitty though it seems
It seems an age since my MRI scan, blood tests, cardiology referal, and still no comeback.
I regard that as no news=good news.

If Mrs. gaza can put up with a life with gaza, a little covid bug is on a hiding to nothing!

Spent the day working out Bird flu quarters for the next 3 months.
And which chucks will be dead by the end of this week, to give more space.
A dirty 3 months ahead.

We will be down to a dozen chucks by the end of the week, once we have killed a dozen.
Similar to you, they will be running between two sheds, fenced and netted off from wildlife.
Another Mo' hen and 10 chicks are already in a separare run, so sorted.
The ducks will have a separate netted and fenced off area.
The Peafowl are not considered 'Captive birds' , so live under the same conditions as pheasants.

If anyone ever had a better way of communicating with this member than through this board, I would be grateful to hear that she is OK.
Her profile shows her last active June/July, but she was posting in October, and was asking me to PM her.
She has not read the PM or been logged on site since.
She may have grown bored with us, but I think that she would have told us before departing.

You don't use airlocks on Birdwatchers wash???
My washes thus far has not made a mess.
but it has happened on my lager batch due to me not leaving enough gap or space. I woke up with my airlock lid missing lol

I gave up airlocks years ago.. Not necessary if the yeast is well under way.
I only airlock finished wine.

Boiler (heat pump) broke down yesterday. Which has forced me to split logs and light the stoves. Fooking marvellous.
Snuggly firelight brandy therapy. Lovely.

The ferment on Rum washes is violent to say the least.
I just loose fit the lid and sometimes Airlock after5 or
6 days, only cause I like bubbles, bit like farting in the
bath love the bubbles, just don't like it when they pop.
