Today. Driven mad by Japanese interpretation of kaisan and lean manufacturing with the added excitement of Eastern European middle management trying to reinvent the wheel with as many sides as they can..
I need to retire.

Put a tow hitch on in and a chair. Works really well. Certainly for 4½ miles

I have a set of wheels and seat like that for my old Hayter, without some serious welding, they will not fit.

I learned a trueism yesterday.
The translation into English is...
You can not fix Stupid.
I like it. I believe I will be thinking the above, not necessarily saying it at so many occurrences.

I spent 75% of my day either immersed in this forum, watching videos about distilling, finding different moonshine recipes or going down rabbit hole after rabbit hole about the craft. I'm so anxious for one of my washes to be done so I can use my T500 so it's been my way of learning and keeping myself busy in the meantime.

Whoo hoo!
It has been over 5 years since I attended a Colonel Mustard gig, but it happened again
last night.
A bunch of friendly, happy folk and a bonkers band, in the carpark of the Albert Halls in Stirling.
It was fun to sing along with the song that provides my signature line here.
Robert.

I've listened to lots of people telling me not to get stuff from chinaland because of shit quality and the length of time it takes to get delivered. I've only had one item that could be described like that. My last delivery took only 10 days to arrive and the quality is top notch

, am I just a lucky fecker?

Yes. Their own and Japan's multi nationals in this country can not manage it. All buggered. If we, the U.K. Manufacturers would only learn, cheap, cheap, none existent. Isn't here, doesn't work.

Never mind, the amount you paid after shipping and material costs will buy a few bowls of rice for those with fingers and eyes who can consume it. Keep it up, some ONE else may get a good deal.
Sickened this week by Chinease product.

Mmm. Forgive me. I am pleased you received what you needed at a reasonable or low price.
I am just aware from visiting U.K. Manufacturing facilities that more and more product comes in from China. Although there are supposedly supplier assessments, sustainability and labour support are never considered. Our fault really these manaufacturing facilities choose these options. The recent Shanghai lock down buggered things for months, leading to an estimated 50 - 75,000 staff layoffs in the U.K. I know two companies within 5miles of each other that laid off jointly 400 staf because of 'no parts'.
'Vented' now.
Make good use of your bits.......

Us brits used to have a world leading manufacturing base until Japan, Taiwan and of course China took that title from us with a little help from Mrs T and her ilk.
Covid has fucked everything up worldwide since it was exported from china too.
The above was nothing to do with me I've never voted Conservative in my life or eaten any bat sarnies, but I forgive you WG for having a pop cos this is a friendly forum, and I know alcohol was probably involved too

, cheers BB
