Yes well. 25 years ago I built radio control helicopters with 6 servos, 2 gyros, an IC engine, with 2 meter main rotors that became supersonic at their tips. I forget how many pieces.
Actually in hindsight making very large balsa kits like a Mosquito was the most fun.
All these things are do much fun and so absorbing. I love lego.
I am going to look for a good balsa kit on line. I can smell the cellulose already. Pealing the balsa cement with your teeth off your fingers, yummy!

Mmm. I can still buy a Keil Kraft Westland Lysander! Wonderful.
Oddly, yesterday evening one of my friends asked if I still consumed pints? I said of course, as it hot weather you need more ice in the glass, a bigger glass to get the G&T in. I will stick with that, Ta.

I have been building a gypsy caravan. I keep forgetting to take pictures, here it is at the weekend. Today I finished the handrail and started 2 front seats. It has been a weekend pleasure of mine for over a year. It originally had a canvas roof, but the charity I help want to use it as a place to have tea/coffee/cakes outside a Victorian rea room. So, as I enjoy woodwork.....
Very therapeutic.,,

All made from scrap, including the timber balustrade. It has an ex church window from Rugeley at the rear, I will take another picture.
Plant some trees, make something for others before you pass on.
Not been on for a wee while. This looks fabulous WG! Have you made the entire thing from scratch?

It started as a gypsy caravan base, no axle or wheels. The cover/top was a tarpaulin sheet not wood. I only reused some framing in the base and the front and back wall. I made the door aperture higher as I kept hitting my head. Yes, I made it all with help from a few adults with learning difficulties. They enjoy making something, being creative but cannot use tools, no hammers, power tools, screws, saws etc. But, they can hold a piece of wood while I cut it or attach it. They pass me screws and nails etc.

Yes, entertained.
Reassuring to see that even in that future day and age home distilling continues. Keep it up obviously this site has a future. X

Well done Mash. Excellent, I wish I was a recipient.
However , I am currently satisfied with some home pressed tongue from my friend Owain.
I trust he is equally satisfied with his Gin!
