Absolutely I'm with you two, it's not the amount that counts, it's the participation, give what you can afford, I'm surprised we have raised so much so quickly but very pleased the efforts made can now be backed up with a move to our own (rented) server and once the security certificate is paid for we are safe for quite some time.
Look back a couple of months at the doom and gloom and compare it to what we have now achieved, working together we are now back on track.

A fantastic effort from you guys, the easy bit is us donating what we can afford. Thanks again.

Thanks Christine. It's also nice to know the messaging is worth it.
I for one think it's nice to get some female members for a change. Will keep us in check.

I suspect that Mash was saying that he would expect someone to be smacked upside the head with a guitar if any examples of misogynistic behaviour occurred.

No, it's a near mint 79 Gibson Thunderbird, a bit of a rarity, only 4 made that year before they were discontinued again. Now you know where my forum name comes from

**IMPORTANT**
When you chaps are generous enough to contribute to our running costs, I like to recognise this by adding to your 'rank' and I assign you the rank of 'Valued Member / Donated to SS'
If you use a different email address than the one you registered with, and you don't put your hand up and tell me, I can't do this. I have this morning received a second donation that I can't trace. If it was you, let me know and I'll make the change.
BTW - I am a professional IT bod - I deal with confidential data every single day. I have seen things on peoples computers that would make their lives very difficult, but I understand the importance of confidentiality and anonymity very well indeed. I am a safe pair of hands.
Thanks
Moss

Just to let you know, I mainly use my phone to go on the web nower days, as I imagine a lot might do.
The PayPal button doesn't show up anywhere on the mobile.
Maybe if it can be fixed more donations could come in??
I had to get off my arse and get the laptop earlier

I have passed your comment to the MGT.
Thanks for the donation, any day now we will migrate to a bigger, brighter world.
And YOU helped it happen.
I have a dumb phone. Calls, texts and 43 Mb pictures. Anything else I prefer to do on larger screens. But I am a Dinosaur, with failing eyesight.

Perhaps there's a way of making it annual ? like a few other forum type places do, then it could be offered as "no ads" or something like that.........
