Re: Penknives
Save the lead forthe B******** who have interfered with me getting my Prince's Code Roe cans. You can also use any flammable heads you have in moly cocktails to throw at their tanks should they visit. I hope the above is not political.
As earlier suggestion now having spam fritters rather than roe.

Very Good. I am so pleased we can apply our own filters.
For some reason then the thought of immigration came into my mind.
I have not considered our governments current attitude, I just want to keep the bad guys out, don't mind colour or creed, as long as all our beliefs are inclusive and accomadate friendly family attitudes. I may pay attention again, hasn't been worthwhile recently as bugger all has been achieved.

Re: Penknives
I am teaching my grandchildren to shoot arrows. I found this in my archery cabinet, this little toy. I was given it when I was 15/16 years old after a penknife had 'folded' on me when digging a broad head out of a tree.
True story, my elder brother and Bill Findlay, Ken Strong (then a National bear bow archery champion) took me to a local hospital for treatment about 5 hours later. I had my finger wrapped in a handkerchief soaked in Inchmore/Inch something whisky. (To sterilise it). When I was asked by the triage nurse how I received the injury, I explained about digging an arrow broadhead out of a tree and the penknife folded... Proud I was, I hit the tree!
She said, 'I see, I will record that as a Domestic'.
Ironic that, I had been shooting at the base of the Wrekin, near Wellington, in an area called the Black Hase. We were shooting at trees as we hadn't seen any deer. Bill had a big freezer.
It is still a bloody good knife.

Re: Penknives
No. This is a knife.
I was given this 50 tears ago after my pen knife folded on to my fingers while removing an arrow from a tree in the Black Hayes on the Ercal near the Wrekin. 3 stitches, at the Newly opened Princess Royal Hospital in What was then Telford New Town.
The triage nurse put it down as a 'domestic' incident, .....Telford an odd place.
Knife made by CK tools. It has lasted well. Played stretch with it many times. It has never cut my toes.

Re: Penknives
Below is my favourite knife. Now 150+ years old.
I polish and sharpen it, it bends from tip to shaft through 120 degrees at the tip, it is good for cutting a steak, good for buttering bread and I have cut 30+ sliced within a tomato.
I bought it from an antique/collectables shop in Much Wenlock about 10-15 years ago. It cost me £3.
It is easy now to discover the provenance of old cutlery.
Choose a good one.
