Not really a "stupid thing" but that's 1 down and 1 to go (covid vaccine that is).

Today's jab of "choice" was Astra-zenaca........

Just amazes me that it's taken so long. After all, without scumbags like me and my road-going colleagues, the rest of the country has nothing (the gammons hate being reminded that without us, they're bollock naked, starving and freezing to death - >99% of consumables of ALL types travels in a truck first)...........

And that is a fine vintage Mr P best served cold, a bit like revenge.
Apparently not to everyone's liking, well sod 'em, more for us.

I agree, never understood why you guys weren't in the essential/front line groups.

Even the woman who did the jab said as much. The gammons hate it when they're reminded of that, cos I get in the way of their Dacia duster status symbol, when they're rushing to get home for tea (and they bury their collective head in the sand when told that the food/drink was in a wagon before they stumbled toward it with the greasy little mit clutching their debit card)..

All a bit "Clive Dunn"........They don't like it up 'em Mr Mainwaring.......

Running some water through the airstill to clean it a bit between rum and neutral runs.
Boiled it dry! 🤦‍♀️
It seems to have reset ok though so hopefully not too much damage done 🤞

That will be fine Jenny it resets after it cools down. Being the company clunt
I have made most mistakes at least once, too thick to clock it first time.
But that one got me all a flutter as my baby still died, or so I thought.

In fairness the instructions tell you to run it dry:

"The power supply reset will switch off automatically when the distillation is completed. You will need to
press the reset button on the base of the still before you next use it"

Didn't know that!
Got my water distiller on gumtree so it didn't have instructions 🤷

It's how I always run it for water, stick it on overnight and distilled water will be there in the morning.
It's a pain to clean it, but I just use some sodium percarbonate every so often, works well.

My alcometer was grubby so I cleaned and dried it and the sample flask too. I popped the alcometer back in the flask to put it away somewhere safe and broke the bottom of the sample flask clean off. I keep a bit of scrubbie in the bottom of the flask to prevent breakage and didn't put it back in after cleaning ;) . Why am I so forgetful (age probably) and why are sample flasks made out of stupidly thin glass in the first place 🤔.

Why do I often allow hydrometers to roll off whatever I put them on, and then fall and break?
I should be living on the level, and not a slippery slope!

Robert.

ED life is one big slippery slope and atm I keep falling off.
Tuesday I was just into my third mile on a five mile jog.
Or in my case walkin' the block to get a paper and I was
struggling for breath, its got worse these last two weeks
well I had to phone the boss to come and get me.
Fifteen minutes later still struggling so off to Hospital.
Appears I have Long Covid quite bad, 20% scaring of the
lungs so they are not workin' now, all are taking the piss
calling me things including Nursey.
BB I am Company Clunt or are you after my title.

Oh no that's terrible Gaza. Make sure you take it easy and look after yourself. And no more jog walking

Its the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea. If I don't walk I won't be able to
and I can't walk because I am breathless within 20 or so steps.
Hope they can help Jenny. I feel like Sir Tom doing laps of my pond!
So watch out everyone the Gaza is on the prowl.
Plan is to do some All Grain recipes. I have space and 10x25ltr bins.
So Corn Whiskey, Rye Whiskey, an Irish clone of some sort and an
All Grain Voddie. Two or Three of each, will keep you informed.
I think Get eh Brewed will get my orders or The Malt Millar,
which ever running 6KG brews is cheap, £10 or £11 a go and should
get 3 ltrs for that.

I'm looking forward to seeing how your project unfolds Gaza. And I have lots to learn as you know, so please be as detailed as possible because I really don't know diddly 😂 keep walking around the pond, just don't fall in. Wish you a speedy recovery 🤞
