Hello mate,
Those are mine. Can you give me a clue? File size. File format?
I usually do a preview of the post and everything looked OK.

I tend to resize everything to PNG 800 pixels max, did I forget in that instance?

There is no limit on file size, although reasonable file sizes are preferred. There is no limit on size at all, but there is a maximum of 5 images per post/pm.
Images are all displayed at 85% of uploaded resolution (to help load latency)

You can upload just about anything that isn’t executable.

I can’t imagine what you have done wrong, unless you uploaded more than 5 images?

Almost forgot

If you need more than the 5 image limit, I can increase this

We have cash in the bank.
Would a 10 image limit be excessive?
I am struggling to think of ways to spend our generous donations.
More images may be a way to increase our WOW factor?
We also don't seem to have the ability to upload GIFs.
This sometimes pisses me off, but these would need a size restriction.

We can allow 10 images if you wish. As you know, there are a multitude of settings that I can change, and 5 happens tobe the default.
I’ll change the limit now.

I am not sure about Giff. I will take advice and act accordingly.

Security is why. They 'can' carry malware.
We must be careful what we allow peeps to upload onto this site.

Open them in an editor and "save as" .Jpg.

Is this a db mismatch, caused by a network disconnect during post? Is it the only instance..

We get very few tbh. I have doubled the limit of attachments to 10 and will monitor.

I have conferred with an advisor and the security Implications of allowing Gifs is a risk that I would rather not take.
