This thread has me thinking.
I drink every day.

At least every day that I am not prescribed those anti-biotics that mix with Ethanol to split your head open with pain. :o

I do control what I drink, so that in the years that I have a licence,
I never drive drunk, I own two breathalyers to ensure this.

Don't ask me about the DVLA's slowness in returning my licence after a full 14 months without an epileptic seizure, and the extra 3 months of not driving while awaitng diagnosis.

What would stop me drinking every day?

Incarceration.

What is likely to lead to incarceration?
The most likely being my prescence here!
Catch 22, re-worked!

Life is a bagatelle! :)

As long as it is not too dodgey, give us some recipes.

Honestly u can ferment most things and easy to get a wild yeast going. Any sugary substance will work :) u could just wack any thing together. I've currently got some experiments going that involves stuff with preservatives in they are fermenting away nicely

I remember backalong, fermenting the cheapest supermarket jam that I could find, Tesco blue stripey I recall.
Filled with preservatives,
It took off like a train and produced a just drinkable wine.
But did contain ethanol.
You make a very valid point.
These days I try to treat my body as a temple, and only nourish it with good stuff!

Robert.

PS. Without casting Nastertiums, your post seems near to the bone.
How secure does a prison need to be, to do this?
A member of my extended family is a prison warder.
They now photocopy inbound letters so that drugs are not smuggled in, as essences soaked into paper.
Where the F do you hide a fermenter in your cell?
