Another reason to shave!

Probably for about a year now, I have been shaving with a Double-edged razor and razor blade. I know a few of us do.

Nope...I'm not going to bleat on about how much better it is.

But the wonderful customer service I have just received from Edwin Jagger - the Sheffield makers of razor I use (which is brilliant anyway) but their customer service just made it all the better.

A long story short. The razor hit the floor recently and the top plate broke. I was about to purchase another Razor, when I considered if I could buy the top piece as a spare part.

There was no way it was a warranty replacement. It was completely SWMBO's fault, (no really) but they have posted one as a complimentary replacement. FOC.

Good old-fashioned customer service.

Have In ever mentioned that I once joined a "shaving forum", briefly, where people swore that dunking and leaving their razors in Fores/heads (rubbing alcohol actually, but the same thing) after use kept the blades sharp for weeks? Due to lack of oxidation.
