A Survey. Whatever are our interests.

And what are we doing, that is, what spirits are we making?

I hate to suggest this, but what are our members interested in and doing? Do we know if more of us are trying to create Whisky, gin, Rum or copies of other specific Spirits? Using what stills and techniques.

Do we know? Is I important that we know? I think yes. Then we can appeal to the potential audience and best serve those who are interested.

Any survey should have a limited period for response, based on a likely response/viewing period. I suggest put out and closed/ compiled after 10 days, this would cover a one week cycle of viewing. If not viewed/completed in that time relavent and deserves consideration.

It's just a thought. I am genuinely curious, what number of us are making what? We should not be disappointed if we only get 20 - 30 completions of any such survey, that would tell us what active members are doing/considering.

The survey of/for guests should be different, longer active/completion period. Let us find out what guests want? You could choose to ignore this, your site, direction has to be as you wish...could be you determine that potential guests need advising. Best to know, eh?

It's the nature of our hobby that keeps most folk from admitting that they partake in it. It's the way of the world....in the old days, we had a couple of sayings/rules if you like, it was up to the individual.

I am happy, It would please me to know that all other tolerant loving persons are happy too.

Beyond that, I was just 'throwing it out there', if there is a response within a week or so that suggests it might be beneficial or required to find 'particular details of the assumed happiness' we could ask the questions. If not no loss.

Personally I don't take part in spam surveys - a waste of bandwidth for a volunteer based forum like this......

Equally a waste of storage space.
