Finally all the hints paid off and a bottle of kraken found it's way to me for father's day . I was told that a bottle of black cherry kraken was almost purchased by mistake, sound's nice, anyone tried it? I didn't know it existed.

I tried a Kraken a couple of years back, not for me, but the black cherry may be a different drink ??

I was bought a bottle for Xmas (sorry!) and forgot about it, by Easter they had
finished it and the empty bottle was put in my bottle store. So sorry, yes had,
but never tried!!

Last Father's day them bought me a pair of slippers, wrong size.
They ordered next size and gave them to me as a Birthday prezzie
in July, still too small. So I got a pair of slippers for Xmas, fit
perfectly. So I am sort of getting used to this.

It's the thought that counts though mate innit . They should think a bit harder sometimes (a bit rich coming from me)

I have had the original Kraken, the SS copy, there was legal argument about SS's name, 'Sea Beast', I can sea why!. I could not or remember the difference.

My SIL who likes Kraken bought the Black cherry one, he always drinks it with coke, so he tried the original with cherry coke and the newer variant, he told me he did not notice difference by then, he did however add a caveat, that has his mouth and tongue were num by then and his texxxxxxting was shit, it was hard to judge.

I do like cherry brandy, I need to make some more of that.

I dvd just finished making my cherry brandy today. Really pleased.

I am pleased you finished your cherry brandy, in recipe section is it? I do not like bastards who don't share. I have enough problems with my wife, orders what she wants when many of us are at the Indian, eats it all, claiming it's hers. Then insists on trying everything else that we want!!!

OK, so the ones who have tried cherry kraken can't or weren't able to remember how nice it was (or wasn't). Jenny, did you manage to hunt some down? Can't seem to get any sense out of the others, think they might have been drinking or summat

Yesterday while having a belated Fatheeers Day get go together ,I noticed my SIL had a bottle of normal Kraken, he told me he was drinking it on its own with ice (tastes like cough medicine) or with normal coke. He commented he had had enough of the cherry nonsense after emptying second bottle of the cherry rum. Again commented that he would buy cherry coke if he was tempted again.

Is this a mythical beverage, I have never seen a bottle of the cherry/black cherry Kraken, the bloody stuff is like treacle anyway, is the cherry one darker? I will have a wonder later if I find rocking horses poohing somewhere I will start looking for a bottle..........
