The present Mrs. Moss has decided that we are having a cocktail cabinet, followed by a Cocktail party. My wallet is in shock.
I am therefore looking for suggestions of booze I can make with my airstill that will fit nicely in a cocktail and not break the bank. Quite happy to use Essences, but would love to hear your suggestions / experiences etc.

Wow, do not be frightened.
You mentioned essences, very good.
My wife and my daughter's and their friends like the alcotec coco rum essence (Malibu), the SS passionfruit Gin essence bottle (This is totally unfair, beautiful pop but so intoxicating) both, great with pineapple juice.
The SS dry Gin, basic Gin with the SS limoncello (not as good as make your own) but with whisked egg white and lemon jest shavings. Bloody lovely.
The SS Apple Brandy with soda, sugar syrup and pear slices, great, again addictive.
The SS grapefruit Gin essence, make the Gin, a fresh grapefruit slice, tonic, twist of lime, that will clean your pallet and cut your head off!
So so many more.mjust ask...,l

I have 2.5 Litres (yes, litres) of coco rum essence, as it is Mrs. Moss’s preferred tipple, but is getting close to impossible you source since Brexit.

I make up the SS Coffee liqueur for my sister as she previously used to only drink Tia Maria.
She says that it tastes between Tia Maria and Kalua, and she's been using it to perfect her Espresso Martini.
I've also previously made up some of the SS White Vermouth when playing at making some sort of cocktail (can't remember which type/recipe), but it tasted fine to me (which is no recommendation as I have a rubbish palate and tend to enjoy stronger flavours).
Hence my suggestion is to have a look at what family would enjoy/drink and maybe a couple of other recipes and focus on those for essences etc (otherwise there'd always be someone who wants something you haven't made up - or there's no essence for).
Oh, and the SS Advocaat essence is pretty good and easily watered down with lemonade to make Snowballs for younger family/guests etc, to make them feel included and not just be stuck with soft drinks.

Moss, I love you. I am sick of paying/playing with the little Coco Rum bottles. Watch the use by date, critical that is. You don't want to eat a lamb past season. My address is 6 H***** B*****' I********** S************. Just pop it in the post to me, advise me of the cost ta.
