Rumsssss. Is there a topic for this?

Mmm.
I have been making the Still Spirit Classic Dark Jamaican Rum for about 4 years. 90% of which I then give away/swop for dry red wine.
The small amount I drink is in coffee when I go shooting. Earlier today one of the usual recipients of my rum questioned why I don't drink it. He suggested a 1 - 3 mix of rum and good quality coke.
I have not drunk coke this decade, maybe 8 years.
But. I have to say a bloody good drink. Having a few now.
As always a question?.. if you have tried the SS Classic (in a box) essence, how does this compare to make your own?
The purists amongst you can go taste a bullet (mouth not ear), I don't want you to become all righteous like other 'bullits in ear' recipients. Although I empathise with Don's view point. Are our boat people coming from Mexico or France? No forget that.
Answers regarding the rum please. Ta
