A forum tip (for computers, not phones)

Copy that and trail it up to menu bar or go to it and mark it as a favourite depending on how your browser works.
It will save you from reading my (and Ed's) posts repeatedly.

Is this not the same as "quick links" > "new posts" On the forum menu bar ?? Or am I missing something

It is indeed, but saves me a button click a few times a day.

Back button only takes you to new posts since you logged in and before you started hitting back button.
I am currently doing that, have posted half a dozen replies, but I can't see them while using back button.
But that suits me here and now, catching up on a few days posts.
When I have scanned the board I will hit new posts, for a looksee.
