OK, for me,Kale and Kale wash come up as too common to search for....
Not that I have any control over the searh box, but Lentil wash works!

It is a bit pointless posting recipes or guides if no-one can find them.
Better just stick to inane chatter......

I suspect that the search function is working correctly, but the number of results exceeded a pre-defined value, and returns the ‘too common’ message.
This is a pretty normal response, and is done to limit the server resources being used for search results.
It’s a ‘performance’ variable, so if you increase the number of results, you may impact on site speed.
That’s my understanding Mash; don’t know if that helps you any.

Perhaps a ‘sticky’ at the top of each category with an updated list of links would help people find useful info?
I know it would help me!

Holy fuckshit!
We have another geek on the site!
I am glad that someone understands what is happening,
I walk the road of blissful ignorance.

I understand what's going on & agree with you, Mr Mac. There is probably some indexes missing as well.
The issue, however, is a search should never return nothing if there is something there.
A useless search, in my opinion, makes this site pointless.
If I can't even find some of my own posts. What hope of other people got!

So, Grasshopper, your posts are sage enough to search for?
There is more to this site than a search facility,
But you know who to speak to, and that he tends not to read many posts.
Try him, see if he can fix it.
Robert.
