I fancy trying this.
Not espresso, not drippy drippy or plunger, but campfire/cowboy stylie percolator coffee.

Anyone else tried this? Any ideas?

I've used one like this but not on an open fire, just a camp stove (camping buddy HAD to have a decent coffee!

I have one of those, but in classic 1960's enamel.
It lives in the back of a cupboard these days, but got me out of a spot on a few occasions, eg, the storm of 1987 when I lived in Kent with no power for 10 days, and just plonked it in the woodburner.
Or when I drop and break the, these days preferred glass caffetiere.
The longer it sits and does it's stuff, the stronger the coffee.
Sometimes this is good, sometimes not.
Robert.
