Well the title says it all.
I think I crushed the coriander seeds a bit too much. Its the I cant believe its not Gordons from the recipe section.
I recon i over did things in the pestle n mortar. Will just do a light crush next time.
Mind you its still very drinkable, just a little too much coriander flavour in there.
It will have to do on these hot summer evenings.

Could you dilute it down a little with a bit of neutral?

The coriander supports the juniper flavour. Often increasing coriander increases the juniper.
Were your measurement correct or was the juniper a bit old perhaps?
Crushing won't y normally affect flavour, but is does not want to be spreadable

I have done this in the past.
It seems to work, and worth doing if it was a large volume of over flavoured spirit.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like I will have a little extra Gin on my hands when "watered" down with neutral!

This like a 'Chuckle Brothers' advice page.
I'll add my bit;
My Juniper is of age now unknown.
I haven't grown it myself, or bought it in for two years, and I buy in bulk.
It still works, and recipes are not carved into stone tablets.
Do as folk have always done with any recipe, taste and adjust flavouring to taste.

Bombay Saphire.
They make up separate batches of gin with just a single botanical in each batch. Then blend for a final product.
It takes out the variation in the botanical s between each batch.
