We had so much other stuff the car was full......and it's finding somewhere to keep it....it's going in the back bedroom for now. I'm poping in to Booker next week for pork to start another run of curing so if they still have it I'll get another couple.

ED you doubt the word of Ice and The Gaza? There will be terrible
things happening, not Horses heads but large, hairy, fast Spiders
borrowed from another member. We will hear no more of this
dis-belief or doubt other wise The Iceman cometh and probably
Mrs Ice. I the great Gaza will not, as its to far and costs a lot.

I get through a pack of Lidl Frankfurters most weeks, 87% pork, though they don't state which bits they use!
2 or 3 wrapped around a slice of bread, a little Micro'd onions and some red sauce, nice snack.

I am still envious of the sugar price that you are paying, today I realised we have a local Bookers,I will be investigate getting a card!

Our piggies go to slaughter next week, and the butcher has asked us to postpone, due to a backlog.
No way.
They are entire males, hitting puberty,
We are playing 'hunt a butcher', don't want pissy pork.
I may have to butcher all 3 myself.
Then we can't kegally sell, or even legally give away.
And have to eat them all ourselves.
If I stay awake, follow this in the food forum.
Gotta respect those forum police.
And food regulaters.

That price ED was "sale price" they had on about a doz items...maybe overstocked?? or just time to clear a shelf or two??.

Normal bulk buy is 50kg @ £28....works out @ 56p per kg sometimes they do 2x50kg bags for £26.
