Still Smarter

I didn't expect people to go mad stockpiling for this lockdown.

Largely that seemed to be the case. No great surprises.

Until I went to my local HBS for some yeast.

OMG. The wall normally covered by all manner of wine kits lay (often 3 deep) BARE!
The opposite wall of beer kits the same.

The owner is expecting pallets of stock in the next few days and has lists of pre-ordered items.

Shame he will be closed he does not sell food.Like last
time as you say Mash people don't learn.
Try E Bay Mash, I see Love Brewing have closed for a rest.

Here is the funny thing - local council have said he IS food and can stay open.

PS- I can get Lallemend fermipan yeast vac packs (500g) at wholesalers if anyone needs shout up.

We did our fortnightly shop today. No queue outside and full shelves, but thats because all the second home owners and holiday makers have fecked off back to where they belong. It's been like a bank holiday here on the coast most days since lock down ended. Has anyone seen the recent publication called, Where's Dom.? Its a spoof of Where's Wally. You have to spot Dom in various locations around the country

Likewise.
I have stocks of bread, whisky and Bio-ferm wine yeasts.
I don't like to think of people sitting at home without something fizzing.
Get in touch if you can't find yeast elsewhere.
