My Day....
Today started badly. Just 4 hours of poor quality sleep.
Then I got an Email demanding money with menaces!
So I paid UPS the money, and a couple of hours later Mr UPS banged on the door and handed me a box from China with a vaguely worded Customs declaration saying it was Stainless Steel pipes. Things were looking up. Then a couple of hours later, another email from UPS demanding more money. Checking the reference showed it to be legit. So I paid more money. On checking the tracking history the parcel has been delayed and was still in China. Hopefully it will come before Xmas. I was hoping for it all to come this week as I have my Dextrose wash to run.
I'm impatiently for some other stuff to turn up too. Trying to get stuff before the ports and Customs sheds decend into chaos when Brexit takes hold in a months time. Also a good time to get any last bits (not all brewing related) ordered and delivered from places in the EU.
So let's hope the future will be better, but somehow I think not and food prices will be higher. I'm sure it will sort itself eventually.
Still feeling grumpy!
Ele.

Re: My Day....
I had some UPS shit also today.
My new e-bike was loaded at 06.09 this morning, for delivery today.
At 18.12, their website claims that there was no-one at home to accept delivery.
Horseshit.
I used to have faith in UPS.
I have to admit that Hermes are climbing the rankings.

Re: My Day....
Just off to beddies... Couldnt resist a look to see if the shipping details had changed, and they have! But reading between the lines, looks like Parcel No2 is possibly on a plane headed my way.
Its not been the best of days... Just succumbed to buying a new 32bit controller for a 3D printer that I just decided it would be nice to build from scratch.
I think I am a glutton for punishment!

Mate, I think that it is a passion for something, anything, that helps get you through life.
I hate to admit that my passions are diminishing.

Glum day here, bounce back tomorroow.
Watch yourselves!

Must have been the day for it. My freezer alarmed at 02.30. It then dominated the day getting a chap out to it.
In good news I racked and sulpited my wine, while waiting.

I am bounced.
Looking forward to the predicted next week of no rain.
It must have drowned all of our earthworms, and all around me is mud.
And I live on a hill!

Especially in school. It's a quagmire and the kids love to jump and/or sit in it
