Well thats it in London , batten down the hatches, its pouring with
rain again just to make that walk pleasant and enjoyable.
No more visiting anymore Tier 4 rules.
Put your head firmly between your knees and when you see the
blinding flash, kiss your arse goodbye!!

Yup, we are all kinda screwed, and now have a lot more time to spare.
I suggest we all double production,
there has to be a party somewhere down the line....

Already on it Ed 6x25ltr and 1x50ltr on the go . The big one is Rum
the 25ltrs are lentil and TPW. Down to my last 25kg of Sugar PANIC!!!

Many might be in that situation, but some of us are still "key workers" and have to work whatever.
Personally, It's not sugar I'm short of, but recent batches have had my buckets dropping like flies. That'll teach me to wash, rinse, dry off then put them away, and not leave them sitting there for the UV to make the HDPE/P.E.T. brittle.........
Wouldn't be so bad but the local HBS closed down about 18 months ago, so I'll have to try Wilko's, The Range or even along to B&M for replacements as I've only got 1 out of 4 buckets left.........
Not that that's not stopped me ordering a 10 pack of Vodka Star (£35.67 for the 10, so just over three and a half quid each but with free shipping)......
p.s. The "title"? apart from various types of fruit juice drinks, what's being alluded to as "welch idea"? or was it Welsh and welch being a typo ?

Mr P I have respect for key workers especially those in frontline NHS
duty, having just spent a week in a Covid active ward with Covid
Pneumonia. A close to death experience I do not want to repeat.
The Welch Idea comes from the fact that Tier 4 was a Sheep Shaggers
invention commandeered for use by Boris in England.
I have since heard there is a Tier 5. The bastards come round and tie
your shoes together to prevent movement.

Ah, ok so just a typo (it's spelled Welsh, in English or Cymraeg
).
Good that you're still with us/one piece matey. By all accounts, while there seems to be a "main" set of symptoms, there also seems to be some lesser discussed ones connected with either "long covid" or this newer mutation they keep alluding to.
Makes me wonder if we're actually seeing evolution in practice or something else. S"pose we'll have to wait and see.........

Yes its all horrid MrP. rapid irregular heart beat, B.P. all
over the place temp up blood sugar up and no power.
I for all my strength could not get out of a chair and
onto a bed unaided.
A week later and am at home very weak, 6kg lighter than
on admission and damage to lung from the pneumonia, which
should heal in time. Its a great early Xmas present from the
wife, she brought it home from the pompous skanky private
school kids she cooks for.
Need to check my school raffle ticket, 1st prize is an Aston Martin DB!!.

I have been known to dribble a bit in the presence of awesomeness, ie;-
Jaguar D-Type, AC Cobra and various Astons etc. But I have yet to start
licking? Maybe start with Dolly Parton or Carol the Weathergirl......
