AT - look around for self fusing silicon tape. Its great emergency repair stuff for our purposes, Its a bit pricey but sets rock solid, but also easy to cut off.

Cheers CC I'll look out for that
Poured it back into demi's for now untill essencia arrives
Are lots of you still successfully refilling the carbon cartridges ?
And I assume you pass spirit through once only not twice as I've been doing with the Z ? ???

I only filter once and get brilliant results every time. ;D

Refilling the Carbon filter is very easy and well worth doing. ;D

The Essencia is a relatively slow filter but that's a good thing because I think that's why it only needs one pass.

Hi AM yes thats the stuff I've been using in the Z so will hang onto it
No need to rinse carbon between batches then again as I was doing with the Z ?

I always leave around 500ml in the Essencia to keep the filters moist and prevent nasty smells developing. Works for me. ;D ;D
