They state they are distilled.
This probably means they make a spirit product as normal, then re-distil it to remove the alcohol, and bottle what is left!!!

OK, being realistic
If it helps an admitted alcoholic, with a problem, to leave the stuff alone, I see it as a good thing.
Sadly I don't see it this way.
Most reformed alcoholics veer away from substitutes.
It is an attempt at profiteering.
Shame.

I have a feeling this is going through a centrifuge

This makes me pretty angry. I have no problem with non alcoholic versions (Becks Blue is my mid week drink of choice when I get that "shit day at work" feeling ) but £19 for a non alcoholic flavoured water? Its just taking advantage. The main cost of any spirit is duty - I sell 500ml bottles and its over 8 quid duty per bottle. To sell a drink like this, mass produced, at taxed prices is just taking the piss.
Thanks to this forum, I found my passion. Now I'm licenced too.

But large centrifuges are really expensive, they have to make it pay.

Not seeing where a centrifuge would come in to play here?
I doubt that it would settle the flavour compounds.
Re-distilling might do it cheaply.

Using a single cone column centrifuge is how the wine industry removes alcohol.

I kept getting ads for Alfa Laval on FB a few months back - it was for their smaller centrifuge. When I followed the link, it showed as the base model was about £4K.

Which seems a lot but is relative. If you're trying to capture a small part of a market (like alcohol-free "spirits" by chance?) then it's not a great deal if it's going to complete your system for your major product.

So yes, maybe a bit out of most of our price range(s) but perhaps not for a commercial set up?
