Re: Ardmore surprise
We have a victorian clothes rack suspended from the ceiling above the stairwell that works off pulleys Robert, think I mentioned it a couple of months ago mate
. It's a godsend when it's raining.

Re: Ardmore surprise
That is fine and dandy, we do too, but everyone that I know stores dried towels and linen in the airing cupboard.
Well, at least the old folks do!
Robert.

Re: Ardmore surprise
My OH keeps making the same mistake Robert, why would you put dry washing in a fermenting compartment or airing cupboard as my OH incorrectly calls it. My stilling dept gets referred to as the laundry room just cos there's a washing machine in the corner too!!
I only put up with it cos she's a girl
. ( I can sense incoming flack arriving shortly
)

Re: Ardmore surprise
With the advent of combi boilers, many houses don't have a hot tank. So don't come with a fermentation cupboard. Terrible state of affairs!

That's verging on criminal negligence in my opinion.

Just where are the sheets and towels?
That may usally habit this space?
Sorry if I sound like the Spanish Inquisition.
Such questions, and their answers, are liable to interfere with my sleeping.

Re: Ardmore surprise
Normally one of the staff puts the washing on the clothes line Robert, but if it's raining it goes on the drying rack
Once the clothes are dry and the fermenting compartment (aka airing cupboard)is being used the sheets and towels go in handy drawers under our bed .
Hope this clears up any confusion. And before anyone mentions the piss poor attempt at sheet folding/stacking, the member of staff responsible has been given a mild beating.
