Myles.
Took a mate to Thruxton, my fav circuit in his 911 gt3 rs anice little toy.
After his first 5 laps of boredom my turn, he screamed and grizzled all
the way round till we came full bore into Church a little tail happy, where
he asked for Mummy.
God help you ever meet and mix with me and bro, we just wnd each other

Measures of BHP are fine, as is engine size but really it's down to the gearing etc.

Current "runabout" is a 16 litre, 600 BHP V8. Though it's geared for 60mph at 3000 rpm (but speed limiter is set to 56 mph).

It'll still get me to the top of Reigate hill at 56. It's watching the diesel consumption that scares many. It's a 1y.o. Volvo so it's quite economic and returns an average of 8.7 mpg.......

But it's comical when car wallahs see me putting 5 or 6 hundred quids worth of juice in daily (I run it day time, at night it goes to Brum).

Cos people think it's transport moaning when the price goes up a few pence per litre, but when we use between £1500 and £2000 a week, it sort of shows why many just don't get it (and that's just 1 truck)..........

I will admit to knowing more about unbaffled water than V8 engines.
And would take the V8 as first choice.
You can always simply take your foot off the gas with a V8.
When the water starts moving, freely, in a container that you think that you control, life takes on a new meaning. :)

I am reasonably sure driving a fire engine on blues, is the hardest metropolitan driving discipline.

I reckon that they may be baffled?

A few years back, I switched on the TV to accidentally catch a few minutes of a combined Holby City/Holby (River?) City production.
The part that I saw involved a fire engine crash at traffic lights, and overturn.
Feck me, it was so well filmed, that it took me right back to every car wreck that I have ever been in.
There have been a few.
It's funny how some things stick in the memory,

Well the weather down south today is poxy. FOG is the new word thick and nasty.
Most people don't leave enough gap and drive at a speed faster than the distance
they can see to be clear.
The easy way to judge this up to 40mph 1 meter per 1 mph, so40 meters 40 mph.
over 40meters use the two second rule.
Keep a proper gap and drive safe peps. 8-)

I have been in low spirits for a couple of days.
Bad news for me on Friday.
Spoke with a neurologist.
He thinks that I have developed epilepsy.
I am now booked in for an MRI scan.
No driving for a year.
Feckety,feckety, feck, feck!
I live in the middle of nowhere.

But trying to be positive, I got the Poly tunnel re-instated/back together today.
And have so far avoided CV19.
So life isn't all shit.
Oh. and Trump lost.
So life isn't all shit.
Things can only get better.
But I really feel
Time for the big boy pants and lack of self pity!

Can't drive maybe ED, but you can ride a bike and this one will do
30 mph and 40 miles without pedalling, there you go saddle bags
sorted. We could call you the Eco Drinker then.

Likely not. The format/lay out of that, probably needs DVSA registration as a "motor tricycle" which drops it into motorcycle license area (like a reliant plastic pig) which needs the respective license so that'd be out with epilepsy.........

As it's no different from a tuk-tuk or other far Eastern hybrid type vehicle

How fr can you bend the Law.
Have a racing buddy lost his brief on the tot up milarkie.
He was a Scramble Moto High Jump Thingy??
Now owns a 10kw leccy bike. He has a mode on the computer which
limits the bike to 15.5mph.Press the button and will do 70mph.
It has pedals (like the fs1e) so with the limiter on its a pedal bike.
It has Motor Bike wheels tyres and brakes, it looks just like his old
Race bikes. It will beat any other vehicle around town easy.
The Local Feds are on him and have to spot him doing over 25mph to
nick him.

Thanks mates for the messages of support.
I admit to not feeling much happier.
But you have reminded me that my brother built himself the ugliest e-bike in creation, earlier this year.
He is afraid to take it up to max speed, because of pot holes.
It is totally the wrong season to do so, but may give me some freedom.
Something to think about. :)

Liking this mate, a way to get mole traps to where they need to be, over the winter.
My problem is me wanting to be mobile, without putting others at risk.
With an ebike, it will be me comes off the worst in any accident.
Not quite smiling, but thinking.
Thanks.

I think a good leccy bike and a trailer works.

I recalled you saying you can feel the events coming on, does that give you time to prepare?

Usually I simply stop events happening.
Sometimes my head turns to the right, and I can snap it right back to normal.
Just occasionaly it gets worse, in which time I have pulled over, or lay down, for the 15 seconds that it takes to shake it off.
So far, only one loss of conciousness, but one is enough to take your license away.
Good news, my local community have been pushing grants for e-bikes, little uptake, still money in the pot for me. :)
