I'm a cold smoker, mostly duck breasts and also make a few strips of biltong now and again... yum yum...

No Mash, Webber Smokey Mountain. I also have an old
style electric smoking cabinet, but dont like using it outside
and its not used in the garage 'cause the Jag lives there.

You will be telling us next that your Jag engine doesn't smoke. :)

You would be very correct sir, but I do ,like a trooper.
Or is that swear? Have had a smoker of some sort for
over 30 years. There was a tv doc about American
leisure and outdoor life. Love the idea of water smoking
low "n" slow. B&Q had some small Brinkemanns and at
the end of the summer put them on sale reduced to £15,
so I bought all 12.
I fired up two and water smoked 4 racks of ribs. They were
so good I sold the other 10 for £25 each to those eating
the ribs.

The original price was £60 so they all had a result.
The reason they were so cheap was that in 1988
noone knew what they were.

I do gear up and go hunting for a couple weeks each year. Hopefully this doesn't offend too many.

Only the wealthy can afford to shoot big stuff where I live.
On large, highland estates.
But I often shoot small game and rodents.
I have a recipe that turns Grey Squirrel into KFC, no shit!.
I'll start looking for it the morning, because some bugger is going to want it. :)

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Any traditional craft skills, trout fishing, gardening.

On holiday at the moment in Selkirk, but before I left I decided to spruce up my carpentry workshop.
Walls and ceiling are now lined with plywood (ceiling is now paneled) and I layed a renovation screed on the floor to level it out.

It will all get painted mat white, with lino on the floor. SHMBO joked that I would paint fresco's on the ceiling. Beyond my skill set, but I might put up the grandchildrens posters. Once they are old enough to paint that is!!!
