Resolution Centre in Paypal

Post by Icefever »

It's taken me 10 mins to find the Resolution Centre in Paypal....I have not received an order from a UK homebrew site so decided to act through Paypal.

I emailed the site about a week or so about an order placed on 27.12.21, they stated a 3 to 5-day delivery...I hadn't received the order, nor an answer to the email by the 10.1.22, so asked Paypal to investigate.

Hence the need to find this page on the site, I found it, in the end, tucked away, but I couldn't find a direct link on the home page...so now we wait

I've used Paypal since 2007...any problems do get sorted... not Brewuk.. another big site, don't want to name just yet I'll give them a chance to sort it out first.

I've got a pretty low tolerance for poor customer service - especially when they already have my money.

Personally I'd wait until I had either my goods or my money and then leave a review detailing exactly what happen and that I had to raise a PayPal case to get any response.

I'm a fair person and I understand that sometimes it just doesn't go to plan, but its how that is dealt with that makes the measure of a good company.

@ Pots...I agree with you...to order something and be told it's a 3-5 day delivery, then receive an email on the day of order then have to go through this rigmarole ain't on.

I don't understand why companies are like it, you'd think since the advent of the internet and reviews anyone can see they'd have upped their game a bit. Most the time I don't mind waiting either, as long as I'm informed of the wait.

I recently bought a part for my bike and the company emailed me that day to say there was a delay with the supplier. They gave me an estimated delivery date and said if that was too long they'd refund me straight away. I was ok to wait and as it turned out they got it quicker than expected so I came away happy.

Not so hard is it?

You don't give any review until you have received your item.
As described.

As an Ebay buyer, I almost never give feedback until I have received it from the seller.
The reason of your 'giving feedback shows you have recieved it' does not wash with me, that is insurance against complaints.
As a buyer, if I have paid, then I should receive immediate positive feedback,- I have completed my side of the deal.

It is a while since I was an Ebay seller, and there are Pr*cks out there, who upon receiving my shipped items, Positive feedback left from me for prompt payment, that threatened to leave negative feedback unless I negotiate a discount for an item they consider 'wrongly described'.
I did not give in, I suffered some negtive feedbacks.

Fecking chancers.

Moving on.
