Seasonal Gruntings

Post by Elecrafter »

Yes its that day again, so Seasonal Gruntings to one and all.
Just me, the wife and our son this year.
But Hey Ho... I have a couple of litres left of 3 grain moonshine, 60L of St Austell Tribute beer, and 18 of that has already gone!
It's going down well. So at least I got something right.

Made my grandmothers Xmas Cake and Pud recipe's. Also been lacing the cake with some 40 year old brandy.
Probably a bit wasted on the cake, but shit is does smell good!

So all of you have a good Xmas, Stay safe, nad keep on 'stillin.

Ele.

Have a great time everyone.....hope St Nick gave you your heart's desire???

It's just Mrs Ice & I for today, dinner is now cooking, Pork, Chicken, with all the trimmings, followed by homemade mince pies with brandy butter, and later a slice of two-year-old homemade Christmas cake that has swallowed over a bottle & half of brandy in the last two years.

We'll raise our glass or two to you guys & gals over today & tomorrow...

Wassail....

Ice,
Meh! Closest I can get to that, was the crimbo pud. It was out of date in 2019 - but as with crimbo puds, it tasted fine (and since the F-i-L popped off, it's only me that eats it, so zero choice/option)...........
