Modern life (aka FFS)

Post by Mash »

Is it me?

I don't mind anyone doing anything differently. Experimenting with me ideas, giving the"conventional" a good kicking.

But what does erk me is blatant stupidity. Just not thinking, or being offended by something mindless.

Yes, Its NOT you. Too many people are Ooh.. I cant eat that because it looks like "X", or are offended (one of the more recent ones).
FFS.. OK so you are offended, what will happen if you are offended? NOTHING will happen, that's what. It gets on my tits and winds me up.
We all live in a real world with real people, and we are all different. I say Live and Let Live. If you don't like something, or someone, don't do it, or don't be friends with them.

This all comes from Star trek, where Gene Roddenbury portrayed a perfect society where everything is perfect (apart from their enemies).
Yes its a nice ideal, and perhaps something to strive for. However, people are people, and everyone does not get on with everyone else.
Once you get rid of the Seven Deadly Sins, you may achieve that. Its not going to happen as people are fallible, and vulnerable, and a lot of other things.

OK I've had my say.

Wow, Ele, on a dry day???

Me, as I mentally composed a reply then was interrupted by my wife wanting packing tape, stressful, moving house.
Not stressful for me, I don't consider it, I don't stress it, I just do it. Boxes being filled, move it, sell it, skip it. Done.

My reply was....

They are all wrong. Not me, not you, just those who cannot..... or who have not done,

Tie their own laces, read an analogue clock, iron a shirt, make a bed, boil an egg, sand and polish wood, shave with a blade, wire a 3 pin plug, clear the filter in a washing machine, do washing up, make gravy from scratch, make scrambled eggs, polish shoes, empty the hoover, skin a rabbit, cook a soufflé and stitch their own flesh. Love someone with everything and beyond what they have. Take a bullet for a friend, optional.

Having a bad day WG?
I fart in public, when I feel like it, and if someone complains, then I will
do it again just to annoy.
Just leave me alone and mind the beak.
" Excuse me sir, but would you mine not farting in front of my wife !"

Wow, real people. So wonderful. Modern life, so few can relate to each other.

Values, beliefs, what we cherish. That's what's important.

Earlier today, my wife already out, I am going out, 2 parking spaces, marked private parking Available, A car came into the communal parking area, few spaces, his wife (partner) out of the car looking at the parking meter. I had their attention, I said park here we won't be back until dinner time. 'No charge, enjoy your day'.

When I came back, flowers and a jar of locally made jam on the door step.

Yes we can all get on, those of us who care, those who want to.

If I had that families details, I would invite them to stay in Wenlock FOC while we are out.

You can only love people and pets...

100% Mash, most of those who live in President Khan's great city don't
even know who their next door neighbour is let alone his/her name.
Mind you as of the end of August ULEZ kicks in, so those with old cars
will be walking and therefore mixing a bit more!

Khan is an idiot.

There is always a trend, follow it, that is to be behind, OK.

If you want to start a new trend, OK, but one most object to, ....an idiot.

F*** him off, what's he good for? No replies I hear. I assume that's the answer. F*** him off. He adds to nothing in public office, just wasted time, budget and wind.

Am I being negative, yes. Racist, No. I don't care what colour he is, or his beliefs. What party he serves or his politics. Get someone to replace him.

Do the job, serve the populas. He is an idiot.

Switched on new large TV this evening in new house, first time. Been here since August.

News time. Had a thoughtful introspective day. First news caster, depressing story, more wars, more hate. Next channel, on and on. Then I noticed the common theme, 8 news casters/anchors. All none white. 7 out of 8 female.

Good representative profiling. I won't bother turning the fucking thing on again. It's obviously not for me F*** the next agent from sky who calls re subscriptions.

And the seven Scottish perverts convicted of sex crimes. I can advise HMP now how to reduce their prison costs by £millions over the next 20 years. Give me a H&K and a full magazine of wad cutters, with ear defenders or a suppressor, using it would not stop me sleeping that night.

Vented slightly, I will get the Beefeater and soda.

I agree, also if you are vegetarian. I do however enjoy lamb and fish too too much, is there a sub category for this?

I have been told that all brown bears are catholic, aspire to a greater religious office and deficate in wooded areas, they may well be lesbian vegetarians too.

Your guidance is noted. Do not listen to or read the news. Noted.

I still like my browning HP.

I think the missing word here is diversity........

Oh and HK? fine if you want factory produced, but there's better, much better........

I'd go for a "goal keeper". Nothing like 30mm DU to change an attitude 😆🤪👍
