I've been on this forum for a few years and on a couple of others from time to time. It always amazes me that a topic can have 1000's of views, but only 10 replies, much like this one..... viewtopic.php?t=1711&sid=860222405dd391 ... 34e3ffeff3

The only reason I can think of is folks want to know about the new AS Pro, but not add anything to the thread ?? I suppose that's the way it hangs
Ice.
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

Well Ice its all about value for money I think. Thanks to inventions like the Sputnik
and clever ways of using the original AS, double runs, cuts etc, the new machine was
doomed before it was invented.
I recently had an in depth conversation about the pro, using the pro and the previous alternatives.
What has stayed in my mind since that conversation, is what people want? A want to make something, a hobby or to learn a craft?
In the past I have made balsa wood radio control airplanes, radio control helecopters with IC engines, 6 servo controls and qyros and flown them. Rebuilt precision small bore rifles and shot at target in competition. Built my own bike and been a sponsored cycle road racer. Although I have gained more pleasure from learning about distilling, developing the process and creating a better spirit than I have ever been able to purchase. My pomelo and lemon Gin is wonderful.
The pro is for those who do not want to learn a craft, they want to create spirit. They can digest what they require from this and other sites with out further interaction. Excluding Tracy who has ventured into the craft.
100's of views a few replies. If they wanted to learn more, a T500 perhaps, then they would more possibly engage and appear here.
Time limited? How long do you think you are going to live? Expend it now! Tomorrow, will you you be there? Ask now.
With our preoccupations, get it done, get it done! As WSC stated, 'Action this Day', Stalin, 'Done before Dawn', Rommel, 'I eat and sleep with my men, I know when they are Hungry and Tired'. Eisenhower, 'Now', and famously a ps of 'OPOD', translated 'On Pain Of Death'
