My best buddy Gaza yes there are a pair, was working in a University and had his
caution men at work sign out. One of these Woke types said he could not use that
as it might offend. Gaza said " It is true I am working, really." She laughed and asked
if there were women working with him. To which my bud said he lived in hope and
the sign would be amended. So after she left he scratched out the " N " from the
word men on his sign which now reads ! CAUTION ME AT WORK !.

Re: It's time for a smile.......
I am smiling. Well done.
I was crying earlier today. 62 years old and I cry, on my own. I do not want to upset my wife or my other children.
Thank you. A laugh, acceleration, a tear, decceleration. I have come to the conclusion that I must laugh more than cry because I am still moving quicker, with more porpose than most of the people I work with who are 20-30 years younger than me.
The others, too slow, I went back in a production cell on Thursday and Friday, cycle time 231 seconds, just under 4 minutes. 120 completed machines a day. I after an hour was doing the task in 2 1/2 minutes. Someone commented that I was doing aerobics or calesthenics. I couldn't argue, I wasn't thinking about what I was doing. Just muscle memory. I was riding my bike, getting my cadence right.
Yes laugh, laugh, that's how we live. Or get in a box.

We all have a cry. I think it's best out.
But laughter, yeah, that's the one. Find it and embrace it.
Now where's that knob gag when to need it

Re: It's time for a smile.......
All of the above so true.
The values found in life are living. Living and being tolerant of others.
I had/have a Methodist upbringing. Upbringing, interesting word that, to bring up. To create children better than you. My Son has recently been told that I am so very proud of him. He sent me flowers. I am so grateful.
My father died 6 days before my 18 th Birthday. Sudden, massive heart failure.
One of his notes relating to guidance in life to me was...
Treat other people with the respect you yourself would wish to receive. Address them with the respect you would be pleased to hear. Those who do not respond in a similar fashion, disregard and ignore. On first introduction, everyone from me is Sir or Madam, shop keeper, stranger, fellow staff member, employee, ...all the same. Their value is not what they do but who they are and how they treat others.
Many of my friends and ex employees tell me that I am a complete Bastard. But entirely predictable, and Fair. Expecting nothing other than I would give, which many have found a big ask.
Be tollerant. And grow.
I never questioned what I was given to eat as a child. If I didn't eat it then I would have the opportunity later. So yes, your humour is how it was. And should be.
