BREXIT issues

Post by Moss »

I have discussed this topic briefly, and struggled to find an appropriate alternative.

My wife drinks Malibu, and gets through quite a bit. Until BREXIT, I used to buy 1 litre bottles of Prestige Cocorum essence at around £50 a pop, and these make 50 bottles.

When we left the EU, the supply stopped. Apparently, the customs process was too much trouble and people stopped importing.
You can still buy 20ml glass bottles for around £2.20, but this is more than twice the cost, is a bit of a faf and I can see this supply running out too.

We don’t allow advertising, but feel I need to say that Chris at Swedish Connections, https://www.swedishconnections.co.uk/, hs been a star.

He has imported a couple of bottles for me and hasn’t charged a premium. In my opinion, he deserves your custom.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Hum? so much for "no politics" then.

Brexit continues to cost the country in excess of 100 billion per annum.

Even when small gestures like above are helpful, but shouldn't be necessary.........

Mmm. We spent close to £55 billion on defence this past year.

What does Brexit cost? I do not know. I voted to stay in, but not now. I was working in Germany at the time of the vote, the attitude from the Germans, we broke their toy.

Stay out, control our own destiny. The only reason some may be regretting the conclusion of the vote, ? Because the government's activities since, .., controlling our boarders, self determination, ....pitiful.

I voted for something different.

Is it contentious to revoke? Let us do it here.....

I will keep a count.

I voted to stay in initially. Now, NO.

So that's...

Out, stay out. 1
Back in, again. 0

Go ,on give your opinion/vote.....

No justification or reasoning required, do it without a signature if you wish.

Let's not start all that rubbish again.

We are out.

Streeting and Burnham would both lie to get into any position of power then support re-joining that Euro Union. If they cannot get in saying they want to rejoin, they would lie and then 'change their mind'. You can tell when they are telling porkies, their lips move.

Then of course they do not have to succeed at anything they can just blame the EU, as previous governments have.
