Post by WelshGin »

Or however it is spelt. Bloody Italians!

Is it available in the SS range or elsewhere? Any one tried it?

What's it taste like? Can we produce it, I have until next Monday!

Help please.

I haven't bought a bottle of Spirits in 5 years, I am not restarting now........

It’s Ameretto Welsh, and SS do have one.

It’s called Still Spirits Ameretto, and if it is anything like commercial product, it’s bloody or Ribble. 😏
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

If it’s broken, it might be my fault, is my responsibility and there is even a slight chance I can fix it 😳

Yes, so, bought 2 x Amaretto & base C packs. 2 x £4.80. Makes 3 x 750ml bottles.

Stirring the base C into the alcohol was time consuming, after adding the flavouring bottle It took 20/30 minutes to clear. However, then, I tasted it, very nice but I have never tasted Disaronno.

I let a friend taste it who had tasted the original, she tasted it neat and with coke. Wonderful she said. My daughter then tasted it and asked for 2 more bottles and gave me £20.

So on we go. I may keep abootle in the spirit rack as it is quite appealing.

Thank you Jenny. Yes it does taste good.

My issue with that practice is that I only drink coffee in the morning and up until 2pm. Most coffee that I consume I make in an old percolator on my cooker.

I think my wife would frown upon me consuming more alcohol, she is critical of me finding more reasons/excuses for additional consumption.

So yes in coffee, very nice but not harmonious.......
