So what are you folks doing with it...later today I'm setting up the Icebot ready for an early start tomorrow on this smegging 25 ltr molasses wash that has taken nearly a month to finish...it hit the 1.000 at last, the next wash will be a simple red lentil wash they finish within a week or so....and I may mow the lawn if I have time...

Yup! intension here is to get some of the wash I've got ready to have had it's first run (I tend to do enough to fill a 1 gallon DJ with strip, then do a spirit run which gets collected up until I've got IRO 4 litres of distillate, which then gets let down to about the 40% area (never less), which is the carbon filtered).......
And yes, I do have a fair bit of wash to get through as the Spiedel fermenter I got is the 60 litre model - so about half a 25 litre bucket to finish running, then 50 litres in the Spiedel........
Better get my finger out to try and get as much done as possible.....

Then, AS out again to make fresh bot Gin with an overload of green gooseberries that are chocking my freezer.
Tonight. Lasagna for my wife, steak for one grandchild, chicken curry for the other grandchild and me.
Archery shooting in the nature reserve behind the house.
Cut the lawn tomorrow.
May need another Granny nap......
No, no shooting tonight.
Made a Revell JU87 tank buster 1/76th scale with one of the Grandchidren.
Shooting tomorrow. Early.
I will make bacon butties early. Very early, just after the wet flannel.
I ran some Rye that I had made the other day, and it came out pretty awful, so I started some more beer, which is going great.
Found half a demijohn of some Kellogg's Cornflake whisky under the bench that I had forgotten about from probably 3-4 years ago. That has developed into a really nice drink.
So some good, and some bad things, but soldiering on.
More beer than stilling these days.
It's great to see what you guys are up to. It looks like I will have to mow the lawns after all, as this week I've got two runs to Scotland by Friday, then drive up to Boston for a weekend with family.
Next bank holls, I'm driving to a campsite in the middle of North Wales for a little R & R.
