I just wanted to say thanks to all that have responded to my recent posts. You'll know who you are.
As a total newbie to distilling and yet to do my first run, it has been heart warming to see the positive and helpful comments in response to my questions. As a result I have donated to the cause.
I think the strapline "The Friendlier Forum" is born out and a mantra that should be protected and upheld in an arena of other social media that leaves a lot to be desired.
I personally don't use Twitter and Facebook only occasionally but some of the vitriolic comments I've seen used on people has led to me leaving a lot of groups on FB.

Best wishes folks, got my ingredients on order for the first run coming soon.

The first, and more important is that we can help others to experiment with this hobby in safe ways.

The second is that some of us can just blather away.
We are not a social media site trying to score 'Likes' .
