Is it just me?

Post by Easydrinker »

I am struggling to reconcile 25% of this nation in fuel and food poverty, and thousands of folk fretting about jetting off overseas due to a lack of airport workers.
And millions more threatening industrial action over pay.
As always life remains a mystery.
And 2022 is going to be a bad year.
Downhill from here.

Robert.

Well, people should have thought about it with a little research before the referendum.

"BREXSHIT ?" I hear you say.

After reading the piece published by the Bank of England economist bloke (last week, possibly the week before), who's calculations have shown that the levels of cost rises we see ATM, are 80% caused by b, everywhere is suffering some (covid etc), but it'such worse here for that very reason.

Problem with ED's point, is that most/all of this, is politically driven.......

From the feelings/knowldge that I have of most posters on this site, we will not be overly affected.
Some of our readers might.

I voted to stay in, didn't want Brexit. I was working for a German company at the time. Just after the vote, I visited company head quarters again in Germany. Their attitude to me had changed. I, and the English in general had broken 'their toy', 'jumped out of the pram', didn't want to be pushed (wheeled) around any more! Knowing what I know now, I should have voted for out then.

Yes we all have problems. Suffering is comparable, I and my family still eat, recent years have cost me £100 of K, pensions and houses. get on with it. Don't blame, strive. If we were like the Ukraine, at war, Boris would still be prime minister. Shame he isn't.

So, no it's not just you. I am not sure what infuriates me more, the situation or the moaning light weights who complain about it. No that not true, I am not moaning about it, I don't give a rats arse about those who are moaning about it. The whole subject is below my threshold of annoyance. Or I would get off my arse and do something about it.

Forgive my rant or not, that 'wanting pity' opinion from my perspective nor discernible.

Get on with whatever you believe should concern you, I hope it betters your existence.

So, 'not just you', I can emphasise with that, moaning idle ijots annoy me.

Well I feel better now. Apologies if board administrator has to remove this post.

We all need a rant occasionally.

I thought it funny that there had been a few "being back Boris" voices recently.

We don't do politics, so I will leave it there. And quite frankly the local ones are not the big issue.

Robert is correct about our posters. I once heard a phrase "it's not how hard you fall, but how will you bounce"
I think 'we' will bounce OK.... Perhaps it's just practice.

Still on... Still on Baby!

I started 25L of Timothy Taylors Landlord yesterday. Slowly bubbling away this morning.
The info said pitch at 18C, then raise to 20C. WOT??? In this summer!
It should be OK in the end.

Next Job might be 25L of Barley wine, worst case it will go in the still!

Ele.

Your right!

Still on, still on. All annoying issues just evaporate and condense into a pleasurable substance Fecking wonderful machines.

Where's my copy of the book 'Proof'. That is bloody good read. I will find it on line. A very good read and much better than considering all the other shite that going on today.

Time to find more sloes, need to blitz the social network.
