Bonjour,

I have just processed 17 membership requests and every single one has spam markers against their email address.

It is beyond me what these idiots think they are going to achieve - has anyone actually bought anything these fools try to sell?
Please keep your eyes open for spam posts, just in case we have inadvertently let one of the fools through - if you come across anything, give me, @easydrinker, @pinky or @curmudgeon a shout and we will execute every last motherfu*king one of them!

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

I know other boards who are having trouble with it too. I think we are seeing a peek in this sort of activity.

There are currently another 12 waiting to be binned, but off to the hospital for a check-up, so they will have to wait

I have been and had a look at the settings available to me and this is an admin level task and I have no option to change it.

As I write this, there are 24 members awaiting approval and a brief look suggests they are all from Ivan the spammer.

I am going to leave these for others to deal with as I am a bit crap today
