Help.
I am trying to make a cleaning pump. For brew kettles and barrels. Basically a small submersible pump with a sprinkler on top.
Cuts anyone have any ideas/supplier for a quality 2500lph pump?

Re: Help.
I tried this with a pond pump - not very succesfully.
Have you considered a pressure washer instead? If you wish to go down the submersible pump route then a Hozelock Butt Pump is in the requested range. 1.1 bar, 2200 lph for about £75, but you can get cheap pressure washers for the same price.
(PBW cleaner is good though even with a short soak)

Re: Help.
I am biting my tongue regarding butt pumps.
However, my inner pessimist says how much more can go wrong with a pressure washer than a pump.?
But I will own up to being predjudiced concerning pressure washers.
I have watched too many people extoll their virtues, whilst spending twice the time doing what I could do with a simple hosepipe and brush.
Robert.

+1. That's the way I've always done it...tried all sorts of automation and found nothing better that to have a personal relationship with the old fashioned way...scrub!

Re: Help.
I'm a simple soul.
That looks like a lot of work.
You previously have stated that you can't help trying to fix things that aren't broken.
To save yourself time.
I am happy to resist such urges.
I may just be lazy, but I tend to stick with sfuff that I know works.
Even it it entails effort.
The Lord loves a working man.

Re: Help.
KOI shop came good.
A quality 2000lpm pond pump. 150mm pipe. Cip head on top. Brillaint. Really pleased.
Works well with PBW... I also think a dishwasher tablet might work ?

Re: Help.
Glad that you got it sorted.
I AM the dishwasher chez moi!
I can't advise on tablets!
I rely upon liquid power.
Usually above 40% ABV.
Sees me through until the pots are done.
