If you want any foraging advice Jenny then just shout. Seaweeds are a great foragable, and sugar kelp is easy to ID too.
It's really common down my way, not sure of it's prevalance up by you but it's a VERY common one so would expect the same.
You can probably get it from a rocky shore too at low tide

So. I took a couple of nights off from the site for some re-evaluation of time put in and benifits taken away.

Is Irish moss forageable? Tried finding it a couple of times with mixed results?

Yup, Carrageen is very common. Possibly a little harder to locate sometimes as it's quite nondescript and not a particularly large seaweed
