Circumstances find me with little to do, in my brewing life.
I have 25 litres of wine to bottle, and my latest neutral wash is at .990 but still bubbling.
Bottling the wine will free up some space.
So tomorrow I will start another beer, And Tuesday another neutral wash, maybe this time deliberately forgetting the Lentils.

Did you get yours elsewhere?

Robert.

Yeah. Found it in a junk shop.. Didn't know I wanted one till I saw it. Really good.

On a lighter note, my mog has just come in from a traditional Scottish Haar, with a vole, and is sitting there munching away.

You near the coast ED? Our pesky feline prefers shrews at the moment :smirk_cat:

That's me learned something too!
Tis true about the fog though. Over Fife way seems to get a good Scottish Haar sometimes but it can come and go really quickly. I remember stumbling along the coastal path to Anstruther for fish and chips once, hoping we weren't going to wander off into the sea!

As a kid I remember the London smog. At least you can still
breath in Scotland. Those were bad days. :(

My carpentry workshop is nearly done. The wood floor is in, walls and ceiling are wood panelled and painted, and the electrics are in. I need to build a proper heavy bench at some point.

Stripped out the old cow byre today and filled in the drainage channel in the floor with rubble and concrete. I just need to lay a new level concrete floor in there and I can get all the gas heated gear installed. That is going to be the home for the bulk mashing and fermenting gear, along with the bigger gas heated pot still. That is intended as a strip still and the rum still.

I will get this done in the next few weeks and then refit the garage that is the home for the electric heated 80 litre spirit still and the keg based packed column.

With luck I will have some beer on the go in time for new year. :)

Busy cleaning out the entire cellar at the moment. I really have found some historical booze. Proves how much my stillin has come on. And running it again through the twin tub warms the place up nicely.

I am sitting here right now, not in the least ready for sleep, youtube and spotify have bored me, but needing to go to bed soon, as someone has offered to drive me back to my hometown in the morning.
Even to return me home on Sunday!

The site favicon is actually Einstein. I changed it a couple of weeks ago, just before I took a couple of extra security measures.
